Muwatta Malik
Muwatta Malik is an educational and reference program available on Android. Developed by muslim reflections, this program is a compilation of marfoo’ ahaadeeth and mawqoof reports from the Sahaabah, Taabi’een, and those who came after them. It also includes numerous rulings and fatwas from the author.
The name "Muwatta" refers to the author's intention of making the book easily accessible to the people. Imam Maalik, the author, presented the book to seventy fuqaha’ of Madeenah, and all of them agreed with its content. As a result, he named it al-Muwatta'.
Imam Maalik spent forty years reading the Muwatta' to people, continuously adding, removing, and improving its content. Various versions of the Muwatta' have been transmitted by different students of Imam Maalik, each with its own variations in the order of books and chapters, as well as the number and wording of ahaadeeth.
